It's made once and kept with the try-on, so opening it again is free. The sides and back are drawn from the try-on, so parts it doesn't show may differ.
Front: your try-on
A good photo makes a good try-on.
- Show your face clearly. No sunglasses, mask or hand in front of it.
- Skip the mirror selfie. The phone hides your face. Ask someone, or use a timer.
- No hat, cap or beanie. If you always wear one, keep it: the try-on keeps it on rather than invent hair.
- Head to feet, standing straight. Arms a little away from your body, in fitted everyday clothes.
- Bright, even light. A plain background helps too.
- Camera at chest height, 2 to 3 meters away. For photo 2, turn sideways.
Your photos stay yours
- Nothing is uploaded until you agree, once, that these are photos of you and that you're 18 or older.
- Photos are stored privately and only shown to you. Google's Gemini AI uses them to measure you and make each try-on.
- Delete or replace them at any time. Leaving Couture or deleting your account deletes them and every try-on.
- Try-ons you don't keep are deleted within 24 hours. Kept ones are deleted after 14 days.
Good to know
- Virtual try-on is for Couture members aged 18 and over, to keep young people's photos safe. Younger members still get Couture's outfits and Style DNA.
- 20 try-ons and 10 photo uploads a month. A 360° view uses one try-on.
- Peppi checks every result is still you. If it can't get the look right, you're told and no try-on is used.
- Results are created with AI. They're an approximation and may not always look as expected.
