From Unsplash, a library of free photos by photographers around the world. Peppi picks full-body photos of people who match your gender and age, then writes each outfit's description from the photo, so the words and the picture agree.

No. Peppi gives you ideas. Use them as inspiration to put together outfits from your own wardrobe, or to know what to look for when you shop.

Without an account, photos aren't age-checked, to keep the free version free. With a plan, Peppi double-checks the age of the people in the photos.

Asking again with exactly the same answers is free. A request is only counted when all three outfits arrive, so a failed attempt never costs you.

Anyone aged 13 and over. Outfits suit your age, so a teenager won't be dressed like an executive. Virtual try-on is for people aged 18 and over.

Yes. You get 60 outfit requests a month and your Style DNA. Virtual try-on, with the measurements made from your photos, is the part that isn't open to you yet: it uses full-body photos, and to keep young people's photos safe it's only for people aged 18 and over. Peppi asks you to confirm your age before any photo is added, and refuses a photo if the person in it could be under 18.

Peppi is coming to Android first, with the iPhone app soon after. It's in English for now, with more languages planned.

No. You can start with Discover and 7 free outfit requests. Sign in with Google or email when you want a plan, your Style DNA or to keep your looks longer.

Prices will be announced at launch, for monthly and yearly billing. The app shows the price before you buy anything.

Turn off automatic payment on your plan in the app, or cancel the subscription in Google Play or the App Store. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month or year you paid for.

Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store, so refunds follow their policies. Request one from the store where you paid.

Sign in again with the same account and your plan, saved looks and Style DNA come back. Signing out or reinstalling doesn't give new free outfit requests.

Your photos are stored privately and shown only to you. Google's Gemini AI uses them to measure you and create your try-ons. You can delete them at any time, and they're deleted when Couture ends or you delete your account. More about virtual try-on.

Peppi needs one person, head to feet, facing the camera, with a clear face, clothed, sharp and well lit. It tells you what to fix. Photos in underwear or swimwear can't be used.

Only to get the weather. Your phone asks the weather service directly, and Peppi keeps just the city name on your phone. Your location isn't sent to Peppi's servers.
